Is CBD Legal?
The 2018 Farm Bill legalized the production and sale of hemp extracts. The extracts cannot contain more that 0.3 percent THC or it will be considered marijuana. Pūre Organics CBD is full-spectrum, so it does contain less than 0.3 percent THC, which we verify with lab tests and post the results on our website here. If CBD comes from a hemp plant and contains less than 0.3 percent THC, then you can buy it under US federal law.
But the question of “is CBD legal in my state” is a little more complicated. The short answer is probably “yes,” but you should make sure for yourself. In fact, you should do careful research before you buy any CBD product. Pūre Organics is here to help with any questions you may have. In addition to testing for THC, we also have our products tested for potency and safety and we offer those results on our website. We also clearly label our products with a complete list of ingredients and with the total strength of the CBD contained in each product so the consumer can be well informed before they make a purchase about what exactly it is that they are getting. Consumer safety and transparency is one of our top priorities.
As laws change, we will be sure to make updates to our website as soon as the information is available.
